City Purchases Two Acres Along Issaquah Creek

The City of Issaquah recently purchased two acres of undeveloped land,  located just west of Gilman Village along Issaquah Creek, according to a city news release.

The purchase was made possible thanks to money made available through the King County Conservation Future Fund.

The land will be added to Issaquah’s “green necklace” of trails, parks and open space that are connected throughout central Issaquah.

This acquisition supports the City’s larger Issaquah Creek Waterways Program, which focuses on acquiring properties that are located along the creek that can be restored and enhanced for fish and wildlife habitat.
