Sammamish Patch would like to thank the people from the Eastside who dropped by the Ananda Mela Festival on Sunday at Redmond City Hall to meet Patch.com editors and staff members.
Patch.com editors from Bellevue, Kirkland and Sammamish were there to talk about the local news and information websites in the Seattle area. Of course, editors talked about Redmond Patch - given that many people call the place home and the festival had a three-day run in the city.Â
Margaret Santjer, associate regional editor for Patch.com in the Seattle area, was there on Sunday afternoon to help answer questions and show people how the sites work.

The of Sammamish was a key sponsor of the event, which is one of the largest festivals of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. People from Canada, Oregon and Washington were expected to attend.
