Eastside firefighters will drive through Issaquah and Sammamish neighborhoods collecting toys to donate to needy kids.

ISSAQUAH, WA - Eastside fire's annual toy drive, Reindeer Engine, might be the most convenient fundraiser around.
To donate, all you have to do is step outside your house and hand your donation to a smiling local firefighter.
On Sunday, firefighters will drive through neighborhoods in Issaquah and Sammamish collecting toys for Hopelink. The toys will then be given to kids, ages zero to 18.

The Reindeer Engine begins Sunday at 6 p.m. Firefighters will drive through these neighborhoods: Summit at Klahanie; Summer Meadows; Jacob's Landing; and Belcara.
If you live in one of those developments, it'll be hard to miss the Reindeer Engine. The fire truck is decked out in lights, will be playing music, and, of course, will have a big reindeer statue on top. The firefighters are accepting new, unwrapped, and age-appropriate toys.
