Chris Elliott Fund to Hold Auction and Luncheon About Brain Awareness on May 26

The Chris Elliott Fund for Glioblastoma Brain Cancer Research will host its first "Brains Matter Awareness" luncheon and auction on Thursday, May 26 in Bellevue.

The Fund is based in Sammamish.

The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. Proceeds from the event will support the fourth annual Seattle Brain Cancer Walk as well as brain cancer awareness, research, education and advocacy.

The lunch will feature Jean Smart, a three-time Emmy Award recipient and Greg Foltz, a neurosurgeon and director of the Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment.

Sammamish City Councilman will be the master of ceremonies and auctioneer.

A minimum donation of $150 is requested. Corporate tables cost $2,000 and includes seating for 10 people, verbal recognition and a corporation's logo presented on a large screen.

An event sponsorship is $15,000, a banquet sponsorship is $20,000 and sponsoring an award is $2,500.
