City of Sammamish to Hold Meeting about Possible Community Center

Residents are encouraged to attend a public meeting on Monday evening about possibly building a community center in Sammamish.

City staff and architects are expected to talk about design layouts for the three sites that are under consideration should a community center - which might have swimming pools - be built.

Architects are expected to unveil a final proposal to the on July 12. But that date might be pushed back a bit because of negotiations with property owners and appraisals.

Residents will be able to learn more about possible swimming options in a facility, operation and business plans, maintenance and pricing levels to cover costs.

The city has included information about a possible community center on its website.
