The King County Library System Foundation will hold its Books for Breakfast event. Author Jez Alborough will be the special guest.
The event will be held at the Puget Sound Energy Auditorium at 355 110th Ave NE in Bellevue. Proceeds will support the King County Library System Foundation.
Tickets are $75 per adult and $50 for kids ages 10 years old and younger. Breakfast is included in the price. People also can get an autographed copy of Alborough's book, Hug, with the purchase of a ticket.

Registration starts at 7 a.m. The program lasts from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. After that, there will be book sales and autograph opportunities.
Organizers say tickets are limited. Registration can be done at www.kcls.org/booksforbreakfast.
