Florida Prep Football All-Star QB Headed to Skyline

Kilton Anderson, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound all-state quarterback from Naples, FL, is reportedly transferring to Skyline High School for his senior year.

Skyline High School's football program in Sammamish — apparently known nationwide as a "quarterback factory" — has reportedly attracted one of the country's hottest prep football prospects from Naples, Florida.

Kilton Anderson, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound quarterback is reportedly Washington-bound, according to reports that he and his father were in the Seattle area last weekend, and will move to Sammamish so that Anderson could play for the Spartans.

Eric Anderson told the Naples Daily News that he was offered a choice of relocating his family to a different part of the country and settled on transferring his son to Skyline this fall. The newspaper speculated that the transfer from Naples, which features a run-oriented offensive scheme, is hurting Anderson's recruiting chances and playing at Skyline would elevate his chances of a scholarship at a top-tier NCAA Division I football program.

As a junior, Anderson was a Florida All-State selection and threw for 1,288 yards and 17 touchdowns while rushing for 952 yards and 28 scores.

He led Naples to a 12-1 record, with the team's only loss coming in the playoffs against Miami Central, according to MaxPreps.
