Fourth on the Plateau Adds 'Summer Splash' to Events
Sammamish-based charitable organization Creative Children for Charity is hoping to raise funds through the event to support the SAMMI Awards Foundation.
A new kid-friendly event is joining the lineup of fun for Sammamish's "Fourth on the Plateau" Independence Day celebrations.
"Summer Splash" is a creative art event featuring canvases using 4 different themes: Water, Fire, Wind and Earth.
Kids also get to add paint to the canvases by paintbrush splattering, sponge soaking and handprint pressing.
Admission to the event is $20, or $15 if tickets are bought in advance.
Sponsored by Creative Children for Charity, the goal is to raise $2,500 dollars for SAMMI Awards Foundation.
