Free Tickets! Sammamish Patch and EMP are Giving Tickets to Saturday's Sound Off! Battle of the Bands

The Pacific Northwest's largest underage battle of the bands - Sound Off! - is taking place Saturday at EMP in Seattle.

Sammamish Patch and EMP are partnering to give four tickets to readers of, yes, Sammamish Patch.

Sammamish band, Fit For Hounds, will be playing in this semifinal event of Sound Off! Come support the band, which has ties to .

This is a kid-friendly event.

It's also a big event for Seattle-area youth bands. The top winner will play at Bumbershoot 2011 and all the musical groups receive immense support from the audience.

HERE ARE THE DETAILS:

1. Sammamish Patch will give away two sets of tickets to the first two Sammamish Patch readers, who are 18 years or older and who contact us by email.

Or Sammamish Patch will give away single tickets to Sammamish Patch readers, who are 18 years and older, and contact us by email.

2. Send your full name, full address, cell phone number and whether you want one or two tickets to: brad.wong@patch.com. You'll be contacted if, as they say, you're a lucky winner.

3. Sammamish Patch knows this is an underage event. One option is for an adult to receive a free ticket and to buy one for his or her child or the underage person (a student ticket costs $7 and general admission is $10).

Tickets can be bought online through Brown Paper Tickets.

Sammamish Patch also would like to take a photograph of the winners before the event for posting on the site.

Sammamish Patch will only use your name, address and cell phone number for verification and ticket giveaway purposes.

Saturday's Sound Off! competition starts at 8 pm. The doors open at 7 pm. It's in Seattle.

Below are the official rules governing giveaways from Patch.com:

• Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 years  and older.
• To enter, see details above.
• All entries must be received by Friday, Feb. 18 at 4 pm (Pacific Standard Time).
• Winners will be selected according to the description above.
• One general admission ticket costs $10. Four general admission tickets would cost $40.
