Issaquah History Museum Offering Downtown History Tour
You're Invited: Walk Through Issaquah's Earliest Years

SAMMAMISH-ISSAQUAH, WA - From the City of Issaquah: As part of Issaquah History Museums' summer lineup, museum guide Doug Bristol will take participants on an easy stroll through the historic downtown to explore some of Issaquah's hidden history.
Downtown History Walk: The Early Years starts at 11 a.m. July 29, 2017. Advance registration is required; purchase tickets via Eventbrite.
Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to live in Issaquah when the population was less than 1,000 people? On this tour, participants will explore the history of Issaquah — from the Native Americans who first lived in the area up to Issaquah's growth into a small town, circa 1925.

The tour will begin and end at the historic Issaquah Depot Museum. Participants will walk about 2 miles of level sidewalk over the course of about an hour-and-a-half, gaining a new perspective on the Olde Town neighborhood.
Walks are held rain or shine. Organizers recommend that participants bring water and snacks, and request that they leave animal companions at home.
