Issaquah Municipal Court Offers Warrant Amnesty Program
King County's "Back on Track" program allows people to easily quash outstanding bench warrants for certain offenses through June 30.
ISSAQUAH, WA — For the next few months, the Issaquah Municipal Court will help clear certain bench warrants through an easy administrative process. King County's "Back on Track" program runs between April 1 and June 30, allowing many people with warrants under $5,000 to have them immediately removed and a new court date scheduled, according to city officials.
Warrants valued above $5,000, or any that involve domestic violence charges, no contact orders, driving under the influence, physical control, reckless driving, and first-degree negligent driving will be referred to a judge for further consideration.
People with outstanding bench warrants are encouraged to contact the court where the warrant was issued. Requests are accepted by phone, e-mail, or in writing.
