Man's Death In Crashed Car In Issaquah Being Treated As Homicide
Police said a driver found inside a crashed car Sunday night appeared to have died under suspicious circumstances.
ISSAQUAH, WA — The Issaquah Police Department is investigating a suspicious death after officers found a man's body inside a crashed car Sunday night, officials said Monday.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the crash scene on the 8200 block of Renton-Issaquah Road Southeast at 9:30 p.m Sunday. The responding officers found a dead man in the driver's seat, who "appeared to have died under suspicious circumstances."
The police department said the incident is being investigated as a homicide, and detectives believe the suspect or suspects left the area after the crash. Further details on the circumstances of the crash were not immediately shared. Police said more updates would be available as the investigation continues.
