Issaquah Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

Police say the woman pulled what looked like a gun, then a knife on a convenience store clerk.

Issaquah Police are looking for a woman who tried unsuccessfully to rob the AM/PM convenience store in the 1400 block of Northwest Sammamish Road late Sunday.

The woman went into the store Sunday night and showed what looked like a handgun to the clerk and demanded money, Issaquah Police said in a statement Monday. The Issaquah Press reported it was a starter pistol.

The two struggled, and the clerk got the gun away from the woman, who then pulled a knife on the clerk, police said. The clerk got the knife away, too, and the woman fled. The clerk wasn’t hurt.
