Issaquah's Traffic Alert: Road Testing Of Newport Way

From Nov. 14-19, the City will be testing the existing pavement along Newport Way from Maple Street NW to West Sunset Way.

This work is part of the City’s project to improve Newport Way. The pavement testing will involve falling weight deflectometer testing at intervals of 100 to 200 feet in both directions of
travel and drilling ten (10) pavement cores evenly spaced between Maple Street
NW and West Sunset Way.

Flaggers will be utilized for single lane closures between the hours of 9:20 a.m. and 3:20 p.m.
