KING COUNTY, WA — With several inches of snow possible over the next few days, crews across King County are preparing the roads and gassing up the snowplows.

While some communities will wake up with snow on the ground Friday, forecasters expect more significant impacts beginning in the evening and into Saturday morning. For those who can, staying off the roads will be the safest option. For those who must brave the elements, there are quite a few tools to help plan a route.
