SEATTLE, WA - July 4 is almost here, which means it's time to make plans for where you're going to watch fireworks around King County. There are dozens of shows going on this year from Kirkland to Enumclaw - and of course the massive annual Seafair July 4 fireworks show in Seattle will happen at South Lake Union and Gas Works Park. To help you decide where to go, Patch.com has created a guide to all the King County July 4 fireworks shows:

Auburn

4th of July Festival: Celebrate our country's birthday at Les Gove Park. The event includes a noon bike parade (meet East of the Bocce Courts), various entertainment on two stages, an arts & craft area with over 50 artists, a car show, 17 inflatable rides, a rock wall, euro-bungy trampolines, train rides and other fun activities for children. The event also offers bingo, mini golf, bocce, a book sale, food concessions, and so much more! Come see for yourself, this naturally shaded park and spray park will keep you cool during the afternoon.

Bellevue

Bellevue Family 4th of July: With rockets' red glare, bombs bursting in air, and a jam-packed lineup of festivities, the Bellevue Family 4th will bring the Eastside's largest Independence Day celebration and fireworks show to the Bellevue Downtown Park. The event features the Bellevue Parks Family Fun Zone, a variety of food offerings, live entertainment on the main stage, and formal Presentation of the Colors. When twilight fades, the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra will play a rousing Independence Day tribute set to the Eastside's largest fireworks display. No pets or personal fireworks are allowed.

Burien

Independence Day Parade: Every year, thousands of spectators gather along the parade route in downtown Burien to see marching bands, floats, the Seafair pirates, and much more! The parade starts at 3 p.m. and runs approximately 2 hours.


Enumclaw

Enumclaw Stars and Stripes Parade: The Chamber of Commerce will present this annual parade beginning at noon at the intersection of Cole and Battersby streets.


Federal Way

Red, White and Blues Festival: Fireworks, food and star-studded entertainment are on tap for Federal Way’s Fourth of July Red, White and Blues Festival. Free and open to the public, the event starts at 4 pm, July 4 at Celebration Park, 1095 South 324th St. and concludes with a spectacular fireworks show that begins at 10:15 pm.


Issaquah

Lake Sammamish Fireworks Show: For the annual fireworks show, Lake Sammamish State Park and Vasa Park will be open to the public after 9 p.m. for viewing from shore. Both locations will have food drop-off sites. Prime viewing by boat is north of the sunken forest area of South Lake Sammamish.


Kent

4th Of July Splash: A full day at the lake with music food and one of the largest fireworks displays in South King County.


Kirkland

Celebrate Kirkland: The annual parade begins at noon on July 4; fireworks tee off at 10:15 p.m.


Mercer Island

Summer Celebration (July 8): The fireworks, sponsored by The Roanoke Inn will be at Luther Burbank Park on Saturday night, and are set to begin at about 10:15 pm. Shuttles sponsored by Kitchen Plus will run from Mercer Island city hall begin at 6:00 pm.


Normandy Park

The Cove's 4th of July Celebration: The celebration begins at 11 a.m. on July 4 and features food and a parade at the Normandy Park Community Club.

Renton

Renton's Fabulous 4th of July: An all-day celebration at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park. Fireworks launched from the northwest corner of the Ivar's Water Walk at Gene Coulon at 10 p.m.


Sammamish

Fourth On The Plateau: Join us for some Red, White and Blue Family Fun! The event kicks off at 6pm with the fireworks show happening at 10pm. Limited seating is available in Upper Commons (801 228th Ave SE) with preferred seating available in the Lower Commons (550 222nd Pl SE).


Seattle

Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Seafair Summer 4th: Celebrate our nation’s independence with Seafair! We host a day full of fun at Gas Works Park and Lake Union Park, which boast the best views of our fireworks show over Lake Union. Both locations include FREE general admission to the public as well as reserved seating available for purchase, guaranteeing fantastic views of the fireworks.


Woodinville

Red, White and Brews Sale at Copia Farm: No fireworks, but Silver Lake Winery will offer discounts on wine tastings and growler fills.
