State Route 900 Reopens After Deadly Crash
The route between Renton and Issaquah was blocked for several hours Monday morning after a crash left a man dead and a woman injured.

ISSAQUAH, WA — A head-on crash left a man dead Monday morning on State Route 900 — between Issaquah and Renton.
According to the Washington State Patrol, troopers arrived at the crash scene near Squak Mountain around 5 a.m. Investigators determined a gray car driving westbound crossed the dividing line and crashed directly into a box truck heading east.

Troopers said the driver in the car died from his injuries at the scene. A woman who was a passenger in the vehicle was taken to this hospital and was expected to recover. The crash investigation fully blocked SR 900 near SE 95th St. for approximately five hours.
