Meet the Guest Editors for Sammamish Patch

With set for Friday, Oct. 7, I'd like to introduce two solid guest editors who will help gather Sammamish news, write it up, post photos and videos and operate the site. 

They are: Robert Baldino and Jeanne Gustafson. Both live on the Eastside and bring years of experience to community journalism. Both have been instrumental in filing stories and submitting photos for Patch sites in the Seattle area.

Baldino, who will be the guest editor next week and possibly the one after that, has been writing for Sammamish Patch since the site launched in December 2010. He has covered a variety of stories for Patch, including Sammamish police news, Sammamish history, local schools and city government.

His work occasionally appears on Bellevue Patch, Redmond Patch and Kirkland Patch as well. He looks forward to continuing to cover the Plateau as Sammamish heads into the election season and holidays. He likes cars. So, if you're an , he's a good person to meet.

Gustafson has been a substitute editor for several Patch sites on the Eastside, as well as a regular freelance contributor. A former resident of Eastern Washington, she has worked for community and business newspapers. Her most recent job was with the Journal of Business in Spokane. She enjoys comedy clubs and speaking French, when she can.

If you see either of them at meetings or just walking around town or standing at  (just thinking about what to do next), please say hello. With Gustafson, you can give your greeting in French, if you'd like. Remember, Sammamish Patch still endorses .
