Mother's Day Weekend Scavanger Hunt Planned In Sammamish
Sammamish has some outdoor family fun planned for May 8 and 9, hosting a citywide scavenger hunt with prizes up for grabs.
SAMMAMISH, WA — Sammamish families will have two opportunities over Mother's Day weekend to get outside, solve some clues and even win a prize. The city is hosting a citywide scavenger hunt all day on Saturday and Sunday, using a customized app to guide teams through a sleuthing adventure.
According to organizers, the app will provide users with dozens of challenges and clues, guiding them through some of Sammamish's historic landmarks. The event is designed to follow public health guidelines and requires mask use and proper distancing when around people from other households.
Those interested in participating can download the "cityHUNT" app on the iTunes or Google Play store. Once signed in, users will need to enter the custom code "samm0508," and find the game named "City of Sammamish Mobile Aventure." Each team can enter a name and add a team photo.
