Recycling Event In City Of Issaquah

Drop off hard-to-recycle items from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 7, 2020 at Issaquah High School, 700 2nd Ave. S.E. Issaquah, WA 98027 at this recycling event.

We will collect the following for free (unless noted):

Tires

  • Up to six passenger tires off rim per household free of charge (18 inches and below).
  • All tires on rims $3 each.
  • Extra passenger tires are $1.50 each.
  • Large truck tires are $9 each (off rim) or $18 (on rim).
  • No oversized tires accepted.
  • Cash only – please provide exact change.

Lead Acid Batteries

  • Car, truck, marine, and motorcycle batteries

Batteries

  • AAAA, AAA, AA, A, B, C, and D cell batteries – along with rechargeable and cell phone batteries

Vehicle Waste

  • Antifreeze, oil filters, motor oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid, 2-cycle oil, steering fluid and crankcase oil (five gallon or smaller containers only)
  • Do not mix oil with antifreeze, solvents, gasoline or other substances.
  • Empty containers will not be accepted.

Pesticides and Poisons

  • Rat poison, slug poison, insect killers, fungicides, and herbicide/fertilizer combinations (often called weed and feed)

No vehicles may enter after 3 p.m. No exceptions! In addition, only participants in cars will be provided service – walk-ups not allowed.
