SAMMAMISH, WA — Starting June 24, commuters in some Sammamish neighborhoods will be able to get rides on a reservable shuttle to most parts of the city.

King County Metro and the city of Sammamish will operate the new Sammamish Community Ride shuttle to make up for the loss of the Metro DART route 927 several years ago.

The shuttle will serve residents in an area between Northeast 8th Street, 228th to 244th Avenues, and south to the Klahanie, Providence Point, and Sunny Hills neighborhoods. Commuters can reserve a pickup anywhere between 30 days and two hours before a specified time.
