Skyline, Issaquah High Schools Placed On Lockdown
Both Issaquah and Skyline high schools were placed on lockdown Wednesday due to different threats.

SAMMAMISH, WA - Two high schools in the Issaquah School District were placed on lockdown Wednesday for different reasons. Skyline High School was under lockdown until around 2:30 p.m. due to a bomb threat, and an earlier lockdown at Issaquah High School involved a report of a gun.
The Skyline lockdown lasted for almost three hours as police swept the building looking for a suspicious device, according to the King County Sheriff's Office. No device was found, and noone had been arrested. Students and staff were sent to the school stadium during a search of the building.
“Skyline High School is in a lockdown investigating a potential threat discovered by staff. Police are on their way to the school. We will communicate further details when we have them,” Issaquah schools wrote on Twitter around noon.
