Snoqualmie Valley Hospital Expanding Vaccination Efforts
The Snoqualmie Valley Hospital is joining King County's vaccine partnership, boosting access to drive-thru appointments around the region.
SNOQUALMIE, WA — A new vaccine partnership will expand appointment opportunities across Snoqualmie Valley, helping immunization efforts reach more residents living in or near Snoqualmie, North Bend, Fall City, Preston and Carnation.
Snoqualmie Valley Hospital is the latest member of the King County Vaccine Partnership, which coordinates COVID-19 immunization efforts at public, private and community organizations in Redmond, Renton, Seattle, Shoreline, Auburn, Kent and Federal Way.
The hospital's existing drive-thru vaccination operation has provided close to 12,000 doses to East King County residents since last December, and the new partnership will allow it to extend its hours and serve more patients each day.

"Given the rise in more virulent strains of the COVID virus, this is very welcome news," said Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson. "A substantial increase in local vaccination rates will protect our Snoqualmie Valley families at a much faster rate. I strongly encourage all residents to make an appointment as soon as possible."
Right now, Snoqualmie Valley Hospital continues to be stocked with Moderna doses, authorized for use in people 18 and older. In the coming weeks, the partnership will add Pfizer as an option, which is also authorized for use in younger people, soon to include adolescents 12 to 15 years old, pending final approvals expected this week.
