Video Shows School Bus Slide Down Issaquah Street
Parents are wondering why Issaquah schools didn't have a delay during a surprise snow squall on Thursday morning.

ISSAQUAH, WA - A video of an Issaquah schools bus sliding down a snowy street is causing parents to ask why the district didn't delay school during a surprise snowstorm Thursday morning.
The video shows the bus slide sideways down Southeast 91st Street near Coal Creek Parkway. The bus makes it safely down the hill despite the slippery conditions.
"Oh my goodness, my son was on that bus! I’ve been texting with him, and they are all okay but how scary. They should have set a delay," parent Lisa Cain commented.

Thursday's snow piled up quick, but was mostly gone by around noon. No local districts except Tukwila had a delay. Issaquah school officials typically evaluate road conditions well before buses head out.
