Videos: Caspar Babypants to Return to Sammamish Monday With Dance Tunes and Fun for Kids (and Adults, too)
The musical group strives to improve early literacy for kids - and to have fun, too.

If the weather is sunny on Monday - and it looks like it might just turn out that way - Sammamish-area parents and kids can gather at 11 a.m. in the plaza of  for a free concert by Caspar Babypants.
The musical group for kids (of all ages) returns to the Sammamish Plateau to perform simple, fun tunes and lyrics. The concert will be held inside the  if it rains. Caspar Babypants' latest album - "Sing Along!" - is expected to be released on Aug. 16.

Chris Ballew, who is known for his work with The Presidents of the United States of America, launched the band to help improve early literacy among children and, well, to have fun. He has been praised for his creative lyrics.
The Monday concert will mark the second appearance by the band in Sammamish in recent months. In March, Caspar Babypants performed for about 550 people inside the Sammamish Library. That was one of the largest turnouts for an event in the new library building.
