WSP Seeks Witnesses After Deadly Motorcycle Crash On SR 18

Troopers said a motorcycle rider lost control on the Tiger Mountain summit last Friday.

SNOQUALMIE, WA — Washington State Patrol troopers are looking for anyone who saw a motorcycle during or before a deadly crash on the west side of the Tiger Mountain summit.

Troopers responded to the crash scene Oct. 2, shortly after 7:30 p.m. Investigators determined the motorcycle rider lost control in the westbound lanes of State Route 18, where the lanes merge into one lane on the west side of the summit.

Troopers said the rider was thrown from the motorcycle and did not survive the crash. Investigators encourage anyone driving in the area around that time to contact them, "no matter how insignificant" their information might seem. The detective assigned to the case can be reached at 425-401-7745 or by e-mail.
