Chance McKinney Shakes Up the Stage with 93.7 "The Dawg"
Breakout country artist Chance McKinney played for fans in the Charleston area with 93.7 "The Dawg" for a stand-out crowd in Huntington.

Chance McKinney shook up Huntington, WV during his tour across the nation. The rising country star has his own unique sound that expertly blends traditional country lyrics and storytelling with pop structure and beats to create his authentic industrial country sound. Chance’s original sound hasn’t gone unnoticed, as he’s shared the stage with Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson and many more. You can hear his latest single, “Backyard” spinning on local radio stations in West Virginia and across the US this fall.
Chance gave Huntington a high-energy show this past August at Marshall University and left it all on the stage. The country singer/songwriter recalls feeling inspired by the energy of the concert-goers, reminding him of his own college years and inspiring him to perform in front of such enthusiastic fans. "Playing for Marshall University in Huntington was very much like being back at school in Pullman, WA at Washington State University. It's a college town, plain and simple," he explains, "Huntington showed out, and it will always be a special place for me to get back to."
Chance recalls of the show, “It was a blast bringing #Backyard there. I'll never tire of standing on stage while “Backyard” is climbing the charts and watching people from across the country sing every word to every song," he shares. Chance made some friends with WDGG 93.7 and absolutely loved the audience for the show. Huntington definitely made its mark on the country artist, and it sounds like he hopes to return very soon.
