Kanawha County Schools: American Rescue Plan – Elementary & Secondary Schools Emergency Relief Funding (ARP – ESSERF)

Kanawha County Schools is seeking public comment and feedback on our proposed plan for utilizing ARP-ESSERF federal funding. The ARP ESSERF grant will be passed through to us from the WV Department of Education.  The required focus areas of the ARP ESSERF grant are Learning Recovery & Innovation, Health & Safety, and Infrastructure.  The KCS plan was presented to the WVDE on June 14, 2021. 

We invite you to review the KCS plan presentation below and submit comments to comment@mail.kana.k12.wv.us.

The public comment period is Thursday, July 1st – Friday, July 16th. Please submit your comment/s by 4 p.m. on July 16th.
