Charleston City Offices Closed For Thanksgiving Holiday

City of Charleston offices will be closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Police and fire will report as scheduled.

Refuse and recycling collection will take place on an alternative schedule this week. There will be no refuse collection on Thursday, November 28. The refuse that is normally collected on Thursday (from Loudon Heights Road West to Charleston city limits, including all of Fort Hill) will be collected Friday and the refuse that is normally collected on Friday (West Side including North Charleston to Edgewood Drive) will be collected on Saturday.
