6 Monthly Beer Gardens Approved For Brookfield
The City of Brookfield Common Council approved the resolution to hold six monthly beer gardens located at 18725 Hoffman Ave.
BROOKFIELD, WI—The City of Brookfield Common Council on Tuesday approved the resolution to hold six monthly beer gardens.
The dates are May 27, June 24, July 22, August 26, and September 16, and October 14 at 18725 Hoffman Ave (public parking lot).
Since the formation of Brookfield Village, LTD the board has created and held annually a number of family friendly sponsored events in the Village Area.

These events include: Kid's Fest, Brookfield Village Beer Garden. Village Vibes, Farmer's Market, Art & Spirit Crawl, and a Christmas Tree Lighting.
The Brookfield 2050 Comprehensive Plan states for the support a variety of family-friendly cultural events, places, and learning opportunities.

The 2020 Economic Development Program's objective calls for an increase in Brookfield's profile as a visitor destination and attract more nonresidents to the City for conferences, events, recreational activities, and shopping, according to meeting documents.
The City's Hoffman Ave Parking lot was determined to be the best location for this event, since it will have local musicians, and they will be able to utilize the donated stage from Milwaukee Tool.
Previously a Temporary Use Application by Brookfield Village, LTD for the event was approved by the Plan Review Board on May 17, 2018 and the Plan Commission on June 11, 2018.
While alcoholic beverages will be served at the Brookfield Beer Garden, there will also be sales of food and non-alcoholic drinks (water and soda), the documents said.
