8 In 10 Waukesha COVID-19 Patients Have Recovered, Officials Say

Health officials in Waukesha County say 8 of every 10 COVID-19 patients have recovered, as cases trend downward.

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Nearly eight in ten COVID-19 patients in Waukesha County as Waukesha County health officials say the county is in the middle of a 14-day downward trend in cases.

Waukesha County health officials say more than 78 percent of all COVID-19 cases, 919 in total as of Monday, have ended in recovery.

The city of Waukesha by far has the most confirmed cases with 316. That figure is followed by 101 in Menomonee Falls, 83 in New Berlin and 69 in the city of Brookfield as of Monday.

County data shows there are 168 active COVID-19 cases in the county, and 35 people have died from the virus, as of Monday.
