Apartment Proposal Ill-Received by Neighbors
Two apartment buildings are being proposed for the lots adjacent to Sendik's Towne Centre.
A proposal to build two separate buildings with a total of 60 apartment units near the Sendik's Towne Centre has neighbors upset it will deter future purchases of their own homes.
The Mandel Group presented plans for a 3-story building near Thomson Drive and Richland Parkway, as well as a 2-story development on near the corner of Thomson Drive and Brookfield Road during a Sept. 5 neighborhood meeting, according to BrookfieldNow.com. The buildings would create a total of 60 apartment units.
A public hearing on the matter is set for 7:45 p.m. Sept. 17 at City Hall.
