Brookfield Central golfer Eddie Wajda hit a hole-in-one Monday morning on the 199-yard fifth hole at the WIAA state golf tournament at University Ridge in Madison.
Wajda's ace was part of a stellar 3-under 69, tied for the best of the day. Brookfield Central shot 302 as a team for the first 18 holes of the 36-hole event, and trails first-place Cedarburg by five strokes.
Other Brookfield Central scores were by Eric Schleicher (72), Noah Olander (78), Eric Anderson (83) and Matt Thomson (86).
Brookfield East golfer Bryan Kendall, competing as an individual, shot 80.
