Brookfield Car Show And Concert Series Starts Friday Night

The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts will hold an outdoor concert series through the middle of August.

BROOKFIELD, WI — The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts is offering a free vehicle show and a free concert series that begins Friday.

The center, located at 3270 Mitchell Park Drive, will host its first "Starry Nights 2021," concert Friday.

The first night of the series will feature hundreds of custom, classic, antique and sports cars at the Wilson Center Classic Vehicle, the center said. The car show starts at 4 p.m. and the first band will play afterward.

The Milwaukee band Rockin' Robins will play on the Gerlach/Haack Outdoor Theater at 6:30 p.m., the center said.

Food trucks from Wahlburgers, Lou Malnati's, Romero's Taco Truck and Nothing Bundt Cakes will sell food at the event as well, the center said.

The concert series will play every Friday until August 13, the center said. It added that the concerts are free and open to the public.

Friday: Rockin' Robins, 6:30 p.m.

July 16: Bronzeville Jazz, 6:30 p.m.

July 23: 5 Card Studs, 6:30 p.m.

July 30: Chicken Wire Empire, 6:30 p.m.

Aug. 6: De La Buena, 6:30 p.m.

Aug. 13: Tallymoore, 6:30 p.m.
