Brookfield Dad Delivers Baby In Parking Lot
'As we were going down Calhoun and Greenfield in Brookfield, all of a sudden my wife says, 'my water broke,' Jason Brunk said.

BROOKFIELD, WI -- A quick-thinking Brookfield dad helped deliver his baby daughter in the parking lot of a Brookfield hotel this week.
According to a WISN report, everything seemed fine as father Jason Brunk was on his way to the hospital with wife Mayda Brunk, a NICU nurse.
'As we were going down Calhoun and Greenfield in Brookfield, all of a sudden my wife says, 'My water broke,' so I called 9-1-1. That was at 10:43 p.m.," the new dad said in a WISN report. "At 10:49, I was delivering a baby in the front seat of my car."

With the help of 911 dispatcher Alex Graber, and Mayda, Jason was able to help deliver his new daugher.
Layla Palmer Cardona Brunk came into the world at 6.8 pounds and 20 inches long according to the report. Mayda said Jason handled the situation well.
