Brookfield Police Nab First Suspect In Birch Tree Thefts, Photo Of Second Suspect Released
A 35-year-old Wauwatosa man turned himself into the police and said he had possession of the trees but was not a suspect. He was arrested.

BROOKFIELD - One man has been arrested and another is still at large Wednesday on suspicion of stealing more than a dozen valuable birch trees from a Brookfield business on March 27th. Police have released a surveillance photo of the second suspect and are seeking the public's help identifying him.
Fox 6 News reports that police released this photo of the suspects' vehicle on Sunday:

Police say a 35-year-old Wauwatosa man turned himself in after seeing the story on the news but insisted he was not responsible for the theft, despite having possession of the trees. The police believed otherwise and arrested, booked, and cited the man for theft and municipal prowling.

The second suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man around 30 years old and about six feet tall. Police released this surveillance photo of the man on the left:
