Brookfield Police Seek To Identify Woman In Steak Incident

The City of Brookfield Police wants to identify a woman suspected of stealing steaks on March 23 from Metro Market, 12735 W. Capitol Dr.

BROOKFIELD, WI— The City of Brookfield Police wants to identify a woman suspected of stealing six steaks before handing them back on March 23 from Metro Market, 12735 W. Capitol Dr., according to a Wisconsin Crime Alert notice.

According to the notice, the woman entered the store and walked directly to the meat aisle and selected six steaks, that had a total value of $100.79. The steaks were concealed in plastic Metro Market bags. Loss prevention confronted the woman and she returned the items and fled the store, the notice said.

The suspect was originally dropped off at the store front in a white Honda Accord. The car did not have a front registration plate, but appeared to have an unknown registration plate in the rear window, the notice said.

The car is also missing paint on the roof near the passenger side front and rear window. It also appeared to have a black in color sticker on the rear of the vehicle. If anyone can identify the suspect, contact officer Iverson with the City of Brookfield Police department.
