Brookfield Restaurant Temporarily Closing For Renovations

A local sports bar will close temporarily to install a new HVAC system, video wall and kitchen equipment.

BROOKFIELD, WI — A local sports bar will temporarily close during the Fourth of July to make renovations.

Champps Americana Brookfield, located at 1240 South Moorland Road, announced Saturday that it would close from July 6-7 for renovations. The restaurant said it would close for July 4-5 as well.

The restaurant will completely replace its heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, install a new video wall and upgrade its kitchen equipment, it said in a Facebook post.

"We are going to use a few days after the July 4th holiday weekend closure for some exciting major building improvements," the restaurant said. It added that it will replace its entire heating and ventilation system after 20 years of operation.

The restaurant will install a "mind-blowing" video wall and new kitchen equipment inside of the building, the restaurant said. It added that it will use heavy equipment like a crane for HVAC installation.

Champps will reopen on July 8 at 3 p.m., the restaurant said.
