Brookfield Square Mall Fire Extinguished By Sprinkler System
Brookfield Square Mall was evacuated due to a a fire on Thursday night.
BROOKFIELD, WI— Brookfield Square Mall, located at 95 S. Moorland Rd., was evacuated due to a a fire on Thursday night, according to a news release.
The City of Brookfield Fire Department found light smoking in a back hallway. The fire was contained and extinguished by the fire sprinkler system, the news release said.
The fire was limited to cardboard boxes burning in the hallway. The fire remains under investigation, the release said.
