Brookfield Teens Can Get Vaccinated At These Pharmacies

Both CVS and Walgreens have announced COVID-19 vaccine eligibility for kids 12 and up.

BROOKFIELD, WI - Both CVS and Walgreens have announced that they will offer Pfizer and BioNTech COVID-19 vaccinations to kids ages 12 and up.

The announcements come after the Centers of Disease Prevention and Control voted to endorse adding the age group to their list of eligible vaccine recipients on Wednesday. As the pool for eligible vaccine patients grows bigger, it's important to know where to get a shot.

Yesterday, President Joe Biden made a tweet saying that the CDC's endorsement was a "giant step in our fight against the pandemic."

Common vaccine side effects are soreness in the shot area, and tiredness, muscle pain and fever throughout the rest of the body according to the CDC website. Side effects should go away in a few days.
