Brookfield WhirlyBall Reopening May 1

BROOKFIELD, WI—WhirlyBall, the multi-level entertainment mecca will reopen their Brookfield Square location on Saturday, May 1, according to a news release.

WhirlyBall will be open by reservation only providing groups of any size their own dedicated space.

Opened in October 2019 in Brookfield, WhirlyBall is an entertainment mecca and restaurant bringing a one-of-a-kind social experience to the Milwaukee area. The venue is located at Brookfield Square, 185 S. Morland Road.

“After pressing pause to prioritize the health and safety of our team and guests, we’re thrilled to reopen our doors and welcome our community back,” said Adam Elias, Vice President of WhirlyBall. “Our team has been diligent about following reopening guidelines and while there are new safety practices in place, WhirlyBall still offers the same great fun that our guests know and love. Following a year of missed celebrations from birthdays, graduations and mitzvahs to rehearsal dinners, weddings and bachelor/bachelorette parties, we cannot wait to help our guests create lasting memories while they Eat, Drink and Game On with us at WhirlyBall.”

For a safe reopening, WhirlyBall has taken extensive precautionary safety measures in line with CDC guidelines to protect guests and team members. Offering the highest standard of cleanliness, WhirlyBall, Bowling, LaserTag and common areas will be disinfected between each group, hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the facility, and frequent handwashing protocols will be followed, the release said.

Common areas have been equipped with six-foot social distancing markers, and groups will enjoy increased privacy from others during play. WhirlyBall and LaserTag are both fully enclosed allowing one group at a time, and lane dividers and every other lane will be used for Bowling.

Team members will receive a daily health check upon arriving to work and will wear a face mask at all times.

The two-story, 45,000 square foot entertainment destination features two famed WhirlyBall courts, 12 bowling lanes, a multi-level LaserTag arena, multiple event spaces, and The Pivot Room, an American eatery and craft beer bar with over 24 rotating local and regional drafts located on the first floor.

The game of WhirlyBall combines lacrosse, hockey, basketball and bumper cars in a game ofskill coupled with chance. While maneuvering bumper cars, two teams of five use hand-held scoops to pass a wiffle ball to each other – and ultimately at a scoring target.
