Brookfield's National Night Out is Wednesday
The event focused on crime tips and prevention is one of several options to pass the time this week.

The annual National Night Out event in Brookfield is coming up on Wednesday.
The event sponsored by the Brookfield Task Force and Public Safety Education, Inc.,
runs from 5 to 9 p.m. at Brookfield's Civic Plaza. The event features crime and prevention safety tips as well as demonstrations, as is part of a nation-wide movement.
The forecast this week starts out rather wet, with a 90 percent chance for rain on Monday, according to the National Weather Service — but that should dry up with sunshine and highs in the mid-70s predicted by Thursday.

- Blues lovers will want to check out the Waukesha BluesFest, on Friday and Saturday at Naga-Waukee Park in Hartland.
- Families will have a rare chance to camp out a the Milwaukee County Zoo this week with the "Snooze at the Zoo" event on Wednesday and Thursday night. The event includes a picnic buffet, a s'mores campfire, a continental breakfast in the morning and free admission to the zoo the following day. The zoo's website as all the details.
