Catalytic Converter Stolen From Brookfield Restaurant Parking Lot
A employee of Champps Restaurant, 1240 S. Moorland Road, reported his catalytic converter was stolen from car on Monday.
BROOKFIELD, WI—A catalytic converter was stolen from a Brookfield restaurant's parking lot within a five minute time span.
A employee of Champps Restaurant, 1240 S. Moorland Road, reported his catalytic converter was stolen from his Honda Odyssey Van on Monday, according to a Wisconsin Crime Alert.
Video surveillance shows the suspect's car circling a nearby hotel parking lot. After parking next to the victim’s van, the suspects leave only to return over an hour later.

The suspect car is believed to be a black Volkswagen Jetta with all clear windows and grey rims. A person exited the driver’s door wearing all dark clothing and a large white hat, possibly a “boonie” or bucket style, the alert said.
A passenger remained in the car moving items around in the back seat. This passenger had longer hair wearing dark clothing.
