The Penfield Children's Center in Milwaukee is a nonprofit organization that helps infants and young children "reach their full potential through education, therapy services and family programs," according to the center's website.
Most of the families it serves are at or below the poverty level, according to Vice President of Development and Communications Jason Parry. It operates through grants, donations and volunteer work.
