CycleBar To Host Childhood Cancer Fundraiser At The Corners
Gold In September and CycleBar in Brookfield are partnering to raise money to help fight childhood cancer. How to help:
BROOKFIELD, WI – Gold In September, also known as G9, and CycleBar Brookfield are hosting an outdoor cycling fundraising on Market Square at The Corners of Brookfield on Saturday, August 25. The goal of the event is to raise $60,000 to end childhood cancer.
G9 is a nonprofit whose goal is to directly fund Early-Phase Trials, in hopes of bringing the latest treatments to kids faster.
“G9 is excited to be partnering with CycleBar and The Corners of Brookfield as the chosen philanthropic partner for their first outdoor cycling event to raise money for new therapies and grow gold awareness for childhood cancer,” said Sarah Bartosz, President of G9 in a prepared statement.

The three-hour event starts at 9:00 am and is broken up into three 45-minute, high-energy stationary cycling classes with a 15-minute break in between. Participants can ride for one, two, or three hours, and can registeras an individual or create a team. G9 has set a fundraising goal of $500 per bike, per hour. CycleBar is graciously donating the use of the bikes and their instructors are donating their time and talent in support of G9’s mission. The Corners of Brookfield is providing digital signage including the large main screens facing Interstate 94 and Bluemound Road, and several digital kiosks throughout The Corners, which will promote the event beginning on July 26.

Supporting businesses will also be highlighted on the screens before and during the event.
Many Corners of Brookfield businesses are participating. Restaurants will be offering food specials and participating retailers will donate a percentage of sales for the day to G9.
