Development Being Planned for Ruby Farms Site
A health care building, a fitness club or senior housing may be in the works for the undeveloped 66-acre site.

A developer to looking to buy the 66-acre Ruby Farms site for new retail, offices and medical uses, reported the Business Journal.
Developer Mark Irgens plans to buy the site this fall and is exploring the number of options for the site, which may include a taller health care building, a fitness club or senior housing.
A number of developments have been previously discussed for the undeveloped Ruby Farms site, which lies south of Blue Mound and west of South Calhoun roads. Previous options were a convention center and a Marriott hotel.
