Dominic Days Offers Festival Fun Through Sunday
Whether or not you're a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Parish, everyone is invited to its annual church festival this weekend, with rides, live music, a car show, Sheepshead tournament, grilled food, beer and prizes.

Win $25K or a 2013 Black Ford Mustang convertible. Eat a plethora of grilled food. Enjoy some drinks and live music. Let the kids have fun on the rides.
It's Dominic Days, the 2012 annual festival for that runs Friday through Sunday.
Besides food, music, raffles and rides, there is a car show, Sheepshead tourney and more.

Dominic Days is open from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, 1 to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, all on the grounds of the parish, 18255 W. Capitol Dr.
Friday
- Enjoy a fish fry from 5 to 8 p.m.
- Alter Ego and The Screaming Cucumbers perform alternating sets from 6 to 11 p.m.
Saturday
- Get there by 8:30 a.m. for the 25th Annual Steeplechase Run/Walk. (Course records to beat: men's —Chris Roberdeau 15:26 in 2003; women's —Theresa Selestow 18:11 in 2008).
- Kids can get wristbands for unlimited rides between 1 and 5 p.m.
- Lasagna dinner will be available at 5 p.m. from the .
- The music lineup: The Brookfield Boys: 2 to 3:30 p.m., 'Tis the Band: 3:30 to 5 p.m., Eric B & Mitch Cooper: 5 to 7 p.m., Eddie Butts: 7 to 1 p.m.
Sunday
- Celebrate the outdoor Family Mass at 10:30 a.m. before checking out the 19th Annual Car Show at noon.
- Play or watch the Sheepshead tournament starting at 1 p.m in the Mercy Center. Prizes are on the line.
- Or watch the perform at noon, followed by the Doo Wop Daddies from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
- There's a chicken dinner, and the grand prize raffle drawing closes the festival at 5:30 p.m.
