Driver Seriously Injured In Single-Car Crash In Brookfield

The crash was reported at 10:21 a.m. Thursday on Brookfield Rd. at Midland Place.

BROOKFIELD, WI—A person was severely hurt after a single car crash on Thursday morning, according to a City of Brookfield Police report.

The crash was reported at 10:21 a.m. Thursday on Brookfield Rd. at Midland Place.

According to police, the northbound car left the roadway to the east side of the road and struck a tree. A person, believed to be the driver, was located outside the car. It was a short distance from the crash site.

The person was taken to the hospital with severe, life threatening injuries, police said.

The crash is still under investigation by the City of Brookfield Police Department, with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol.
