First Annual Turkey Trot wobbling to Brookfield
Brookfield native Kelly Johnson Hosting inaugural Charity Turkey Trot in November!

Town of Brookfield native Kelly Johnson, really enjoys making a difference in community -- as she started her own nonprofit, the Kelly Johnson Foundation in 2014. As an avid runner and event director she recently got involved with organizing Thanksgiving road races in Chicago where she currently resides! Well, she's coming home for the holiday and bringing this traditional run with her to Wisconsin to host the first annual Turkey Trot 5K in Brookfield, WI on Saturday, November 24th.
"The main goal of hosting this inaugural run is to get as much of the community involved, provide a local Thanksgiving run in the Brookfield area, and promote awareness of my nonprofit and our mission! The Turkey Trot 5K gives the opportunity for Brookfield residents, family and friends visiting for the holiday to participate in a Thanksgiving family fun event!" said Kelly Johnson, race director of the Turkey Trot.
