Freshen Up Your Pantry at Farmers Market Saturday

Get out of the house and freshen up your pantry with some healthy ingredients with a stop at the Brookfield Farmers Market on Saturday.

Held in the Civic Plaza near city hall, 2000 N Calhoun Rd., the market runs from 7:30 a.m. to noon. 

If you're looking to spend time outdoors this weekend, the weather will work in your favor.  Through the National Weather Service predicts a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be sunny and in the mid-70s.

The Milwaukee Brewers are home against Washington Friday through Sunday for a three-game series, the first games in which the team’s $10 voucher program is in place. Everyone attending an August game at Miller Park receives the voucher toward concessions, merchandise or a ticket later this year.

The massive celebration of experimental aircraft and all things that fly at EAA Airventure continues through Monday in Oshkosh. If you like anything airborne, this is the place to be.

The Lakefront Milwaukee Air and Water Show is also this weekend, with shows starting at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
